Partners for Care is a lean and innovative organization created to support the patients of the NSHA. Originally formed as an auxiliary Partners for Care is supported by a small, knowledgeable and skilled staff and draws upon the expertise of local business people and entrepreneurial volunteer board members. Together this dedicated group focuses on a broad variety of activities which fall in three main categories, according to their chief purpose:

1. Revenue Generating Activity, such as management of parking services, special projects on behalf of the NSHA, as well as unique Retail services.

2. Strategic Activity which furthers a priority of the NSHA to enhance community health such as the Urban Farm and Healthy Eating initiatives such as Partners for Healthier Weight, the Farmers Market and Retail Food Services.

The work of Partners for Care impacts a diverse group of stakeholders including the patients of the NSHA and the broader community.

Partners for Care is the operating name of the QEII Health Sciences Centre Auxiliary which is a Canadian registered charity. The charity is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency.
